AWS Service Disruption (Resolved)
Between 11:49 PM (PDT) on October 19 and 3:01 PM (PDT) on October 20, AWS experienced an issue in one of its major U.S. regions that caused intermittent errors and slower performance for several cloud services.
The disruption was triggered by a network-related problem that affected how certain AWS systems communicate with each other. As engineers worked through the issue, some operations were temporarily slowed or paused to help stabilize the environment.
AWS fully resolved the issue by 3:01 PM (PDT), and all services have since returned to normal operation. A small amount of background processing may continue as systems finish catching up, but no further customer impact is expected.
AWS will provide a detailed post-event summary once their investigation is complete.

Update -
AWS has identified the root cause of the network connectivity issues as an internal subsystem responsible for monitoring the health of Network Load Balancers. They have implemented additional mitigation steps, which are showing early signs of recovery in some Availability Zones, and continue to work toward full resolution across remaining zones.
Provenir team continues to monitor alerts closely and prioritize customer tickets related to the AWS outage. If you experience any issues with Provenir services, please open a support ticket.
We appreciate your patience and will continue to provide updates until AWS confirms full recovery.
